Global AI Bootcamp Night
On Thursday September 5th, the Notts Dev Workshop team will be hosting the Nottingham arm of the Global AI Nights!
What's it all about?
The Global AI Night is a free evening event organized by 74 communities all over the world that are passionate about Artificial Intelligence on the Microsoft Azure.
During this AI Night you will get inspired through sessions and get your hands dirty during the workshops. By the end of the night you will be able to infuse AI into your applications.
Workshop: Let's create an intelligent application with Cognitive Services
Our application needs to be more intelligent and come into a modern world with easy analyse the customers’ needs. Machine Learning and Algorithms can easily help us, and with help with Pre-Trained AI APIs, we can easily use this without learning how those algorithms are built.
During this workshop, we will learn how to create an Intelligent Application using Pre-Trained AI API: Microsoft Cognitive Services. We will use ASP.NET Core and Azure Logic Apps to create an application that can see, make a decision and use our language to communicate.
We will start from pre-trained AI API, such as computer vision and text analytics, that are accessed by REST protocol. Next, we will dive into the Custom Vision and Content Moderator.

Speaker: Gosia Borzecka
Gosia Borzecka is a software developer with over 6-years experience specialised in Microsoft technology and Office 365 Development MVP.
Currently, she working with .NET, React and TypeScript in Intelligent Decisioning Ltd as Office 365 Developer, where she is trying to improve day by day work adding the newest technology, such as AI and Cognitive Services. She runs a NottsDevWorkshop community – a meetup to learn something new from various technology, organiser of Azure Bootcamp, AI Night and Global AI Bootcamp in Nottingham, and co-organizer of O365 Bootcamp in the UK.
