Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers and organisers agree to follow this Code of Conduct. Organisers and their agents will enforce this code throughout the conference, and associated activities. This is to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time whilst involved with Global Azure Bootcamp Nottingham.

Short Version

Global Azure Bootcamp Nottingham strives to be an event where everyone can come, learn new skills and network with their peers regardless of gender, sexuality, race, disability, gender identity, appearance or religion. Language and imagery that focus on these aspects will not be tolerated from sponsors, speakers or attendees. If you feel at any time that this code of conduct is not being followed then please alert a member of the Global Azure Bootcamp Nottingham team (identified by their shirts) immediately.

Basically, be nice to everyone and we’ll have a great conference.

Long Version

Harassment of any participants at a Global Azure Bootcamp Nottingham event will not be tolerated. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive language, sexual imagery, inappropriate physical contact, unwanted sexual advances, intimidation, malicious disruption of talks, unwanted photography

Sponsors and their agents are also subject to this code of conduct. No materials should contain sexual imagery, and should not make disparaging use of any

If anyone engages in harassing behaviour then the Global Azure Bootcamp Nottingham organisers will take action as deemed appropriate. This includes verbally warning the offender, requesting they leave the venue, and removing them from any further events. Should the offender by a sponsor or a speaker then they may be removed from the Global Azure Bootcamp Nottingham immediately, in this case Global Azure Bootcamp Nottingham will not be responsible for any costs incurred. In the case of a Sponsor being unable to continue with the series, Global Azure Bootcamp Nottingham will not provide a refund.

If you feel you are being harassed or you witness someone else being harassed then please alert a member of the Global Azure Bootcamp Nottingham team immediately. They will be identifiable by their laminates, and the registration desk will be staffed throughout. If needed Global Azure Bootcamp Nottingham staff will help to contact venue security or the Police, and provide any other support as needed.
